Follow these steps to set up a new auction in Argenta.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Auctions > Auction List
2. Click Add New
3. Fill in the required fields:
   • Auction Title: A descriptive name (max 140 characters)
   • Status: Set to New or In Planning
   • Start Date and Time: When bidding opens
   • End Date and Time: When bidding closes
4. Add optional details:
   • Auction Type and Category: Classify the auction
   • Description: Details about the auction
   • Target Budget and Fundraising Goal: Financial targets
   • Banner and Side Images: Branding for the public form
   • Webinar Link: If hosting a live virtual auction
5. Click Save

After Creating

Next steps in the auction workspace:

• Add auction items on the Auction Items tab
• Connect the auction to a campaign and an event on the Connections tab
• Design the public form on the Public Form Design tab
• Record sponsorships on the Sponsorships tab
• Check Make Auction Public on the Auction Details tab when you are ready
