How to Undo and Redo Changes in the Content Editor
The editor keeps its own undo history, separate from your browser's.
- Undo: the Undo button on the toolbar, or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac).
- Redo: the Redo button, Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd+Y or Cmd+Shift+Z on a Mac).

What to expect from it
- It steps back a word at a time, not a letter. A state is saved when you press space or Enter, so one Undo takes back the last word rather than the last keystroke.
- It holds 50 steps. Beyond that the oldest drop off the back.
- The history lives only while the page is open. Leave the page or reload it and there is nothing left to undo back to.
- Two changes it does not step back cleanly: an Improve Body with AI rewrite and an edit made in HTML View. Undo after either can go back further than you meant, so copy your text first.
One thing worth knowing while you are typing: inside the editor, Tab indents and Shift+Tab outdents, rather than jumping to the next field on the page.
