How to Insert Current Date or Time in the Content Editor

Insert Date and Insert Time drop today's date, or the time right now, wherever the cursor is sitting. They are the calendar and clock icons on the toolbar.

• They go in as ordinary text. It is a snapshot of the moment you clicked and it never updates itself afterwards.
• You can edit or delete what they insert like anything else you typed.
• The format comes from your browser's language and region settings, not from Argenta, and the date and time are your own computer's clock. Somebody whose machine is set up differently will get the same date written another way when they insert one.

They are useful for noting when a piece of content was written or last revised. If you want a date that keeps itself current, this is not it.
