How to Use Filters to Find Records
Every list page has a filter panel above the grid. It starts closed.
- Open a list, such as Constituents, Donations or Events, and click Show Filter.
- Set what you want: pick from the dropdowns, choose date ranges, type into the search box.
- Click Apply Filter.
Clear Filter resets everything and puts the list back the way it opens, which on many lists is the active records rather than all of them.
Saving a filter
Use Save or Load a Filter above the list.
- Save This Filter stores the current settings under a name you give it. An administrator also sees Make available to all users on this team, which shares the filter with everyone.
- Your own are listed under My Saved Filters, each with an icon to load it and one to delete it.
- Shared Filters is a separate list of filters other people have shared across the organization, and it shows who shared each one.

A list also remembers the filter you last had on it for as long as that browser tab stays open, so coming back to it in the same tab picks up where you left off; a new tab or a new browser session starts blank. To keep a filter for good, save it.
