Add A New Deposit in Argenta
 
  1. From the main menu on the left side of the screen choose General Financials > Deposits

  2. Click the "Add New" button above the Deposit List
    •  This will automatically add the new deposit and take you to the deposit's workspace to enter the deposit details.

  3. If the deposit is associated to a specific constituent, for example: Stripe, use the "Associated Constituent" lookup field to select that constituent.
    • If the constituent doesn't exist yet, click the icon to add the new constituent.

  4. If the deposit is associated to a credit card transaction, where a merchant fee was charged, you would enter that in the Associated Merchant Fees Expense field.

  5. If applicable select the associated Fund for the deposit.

  6. Select the bank account where the deposit was made. This field is required, because a deposit in Argenta, is funds deposited into a bank account.

  7. Provide a very brief description for the deposit.

  8. Enter the date the deposit was made.

  9. Enter the amount of the deposit.

  10. If the deposit is associated to a check or reference number, enter that.

  11. Select the organization segments associated to the deposit, if applicable
    • Chapter
    • Division
    • Department
    • District
    • Precinct

  12. Click the "Save Changes & Exit" button to complete adding the Deposit.
    • You can also switch tabs in the Deposit Workspace to save the deposit and take additional actions on the deposit.
