Add A New Deposit in Argenta
- From the main menu on the left side of the screen choose General Financials > Deposits
- Click the "Add New" button above the Deposit List
- This will automatically add the new deposit and take you to the deposit's workspace to enter the deposit details.
- If the deposit is associated to a specific constituent, for example: Stripe, use the "Associated Constituent" lookup field to select that constituent.
- If the constituent doesn't exist yet, click the icon to add the new constituent.
- If the deposit is associated to a credit card transaction, where a merchant fee was charged, you would enter that in the Associated Merchant Fees Expense field.
- If applicable select the associated Fund for the deposit.
- Select the bank account where the deposit was made. This field is required, because a deposit in Argenta, is funds deposited into a bank account.
- Provide a very brief description for the deposit.
- Enter the date the deposit was made.
- Enter the amount of the deposit.
- If the deposit is associated to a check or reference number, enter that.
- Select the organization segments associated to the deposit, if applicable
- Chapter
- Division
- Department
- District
- Precinct
- Click the "Save Changes & Exit" button to complete adding the Deposit.
- You can also switch tabs in the Deposit Workspace to save the deposit and take additional actions on the deposit.
