Editing A Classification Code
You cannot directly change the name of a classification code in your instance of Argenta. The reason for this is because once you've used a classification code throughout the system that code is an important part of your reporting and historical data. If you change it, you risk damage to the integrity of your data.

If you really must change a code's name...
  • You can find all the records associated to that classification code.
  • Add a new classification code with the name you want to use.
  • Reclassify each record in the system, to the new classification code.
  • Delete the original classification code.
