Argenta allows you to categorize and associated things like events, tasks, etc with Precincts. Precincts are geographical boundaries used for voting purposes in most states.
To add new precincts, select My Organization > Precincts - from the Argenta main menu on the left hand side.
This will open the Precinct listing for your organization. From here, click the "Add New" button.
This will open the Add A New Precinct window.
Here you will enter the details of the new precinct. Let's take a look at each field in detail:
1. Precinct Number - You can add a number to your precinct if needed by filling in this field.
2. Precinct Name - Fill in a distinct name for your new precinct here. This is a required field.
3. District - You must select a District for your Precinct by using the drop down list here. If your District is not listed you can add a new one by selecting the "Add New" button. This is a required field.
4. Congressional District - To add a congressional district select one from the drop-down list. If the appropriated one is not listed you can add a new one by selecting the "Add New" button.
5. State Senate District - You can select the state senate district from the drop-down list. If the appropriate one is not listed you can add a new one by selecting the "Add New" button.
6. House District - You can select a house district from the drop-down list. If the appropriate one is not listed you can add a new one by selecting the "Add New" button.
Click the "Add This Precinct" button to add the Precinct and return to your organizations complete listing of Precincts.
