Your auction closes on its own at the end date and time you set. Here is what happens and what to do next.
Bidding Stops Automatically
When the end time arrives, the public form stops taking bids. You do not have to close it by hand.
Winners Are the Highest Bidders
For each item, the person with the highest bid wins. You can see every bid on the Bidding tab in your auction workspace.
Winners Are Charged Automatically
Every bidder put a card on file when they registered. When the auction closes, the card for each winning bidder is charged automatically for their winning amount. There is no need to chase down payments.
Finishing Up
- Review the winning bids on the Bidding tab
- Check your Budget & Financials summary to see the income
- Arrange to deliver or hand off the items to the winners
- Set the auction status to Complete

Thank your winners and your donors soon after the auction. A quick thank you goes a long way toward next year.
