The Policies and Procedures module in Argenta helps you document, distribute, and track acknowledgment of organizational policies. Ensure staff and volunteers read and understand important guidelines.

What Policies and Procedures Offers

  • Central repository for all organizational policies

Accessing Policies and Procedures

  1. Go to Operations
  2. Click on Policies and Procedures
  3. View all documented policies

Creating a Policy

  1. Navigate to Policies and Procedures
  2. Click Add New
  3. Enter the Policy Name
  4. Select a Category (HR, Safety, Operations, etc.)
  5. Write or paste the policy content
  6. Attach supporting documents if needed
  7. Set the effective date
  8. Save the policy

Requiring Acknowledgment

For policies that require staff/volunteer acknowledgment:

  1. Open the policy
  2. Enable the Require Acknowledgment setting
  3. Assign the policy to specific users or groups
  4. Set a deadline for acknowledgment
  5. Users will be prompted to read and acknowledge

Tracking Who Has Acknowledged

  1. Open the policy
  2. Go to the View Log or Acknowledgments section
  3. See who has read and acknowledged the policy
  4. Identify who still needs to acknowledge

Updating Policies

When policies change:

  1. Open the existing policy
  2. Edit the content
  3. Update the effective date
  4. Optionally require re-acknowledgment
  5. Previous versions are maintained for reference
