Training Tracks in Argenta help you manage training programs for volunteers, staff, members, or other constituents. Track who needs training, who has completed it, and maintain compliance records.
What Are Training Tracks?
A Training Track is a defined training program or course that constituents complete. Examples include:
- Volunteer orientation
- Safety certifications
- Compliance training
- Skills development courses
- Onboarding programs
Accessing Training Tracks
- Go to Staff Management or Volunteerism
- Click on Training Tracks
- View all defined training programs
Creating a Training Track
- Navigate to Training Tracks
- Click Add New
- Enter the training name and description
- Set the category (Safety, Orientation, Skills, etc.)
- Define if certification is required
- Set expiration period if the training expires
- Save the training track
Assigning Training to People
- Open the Training Track
- Go to the Participants tab
- Click Add Participant
- Select the constituent(s) to assign
- Set their completion status and date
Viewing Training on a Person's Record
- Open the constituent record (Volunteer, Staff Member, etc.)
- Look for the Training tab
- View all training assigned to that person
- See completion status and expiration dates
Tracking Expiring Training
For training that expires (like CPR certification):
- Set an expiration period when creating the training track
- Run reports to find expiring certifications
- Set up notifications for upcoming expirations
Training Reports
Use reports to:
- See all participants who have completed training
- Find people who need to complete required training
- Track expiring certifications
- Document compliance for audits
