Engagements in Argenta track significant touchpoints with constituents. Unlike the Contact Log which records conversations, Engagements track meaningful interactions that indicate relationship strength.
What Are Engagements?
Engagements are trackable activities that show how constituents interact with your organization. Examples include:
- Attending an event
- Opening an email
- Making a donation
- Volunteering for a task
- Responding to a survey
Accessing Engagements
- Open a constituent record
- Look for the Engagements tab
- View all tracked engagements for that person
Adding an Engagement Manually
- Navigate to the Engagements tab on any constituent record
- Click Add New
- Select the Engagement Type
- Enter the Date
- Add a description if needed
- Save the engagement
Automatic Engagements
Argenta automatically creates engagements when:
- An email is sent to a constituent (optionally when opened)
- A donation is recorded
- A volunteer signs up for a task
- An event registration is submitted
