Argenta tracks volunteer hours for each volunteer. Here is how to view the hours a specific volunteer has served and run reports on volunteer hours across your organization.

Viewing Hours for a Specific Volunteer

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Volunteers
  2. Find and open the volunteer's record
  3. Look for the Service History or Hours tab
  4. This shows all logged hours for that volunteer

Viewing Hours from the Constituent Record

  1. Open the constituent's record
  2. If they are a volunteer, look for the Volunteer affiliation
  3. Click through to their volunteer record
  4. View their hours in the service history section

Running Volunteer Hours Reports

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Look for volunteer-related reports such as:
    • Volunteer Hours Report - Total hours by volunteer
    • Volunteer Service Details - Detailed breakdown of service
    • Total Volunteer Hours - Aggregate hours across all volunteers
  3. Set your date range and any filters
  4. Run the report

Viewing Hours by Task

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Volunteer Tasks
  2. Open a specific task
  3. View the volunteers assigned and hours logged for that task

Viewing Hours by Task Group

  1. Go to Volunteerism > Volunteer Task Groups
  2. Open the task group
  3. View aggregate hours across all tasks in the group

Exporting Volunteer Hours

  1. Run a volunteer hours report
  2. Click Export to Excel to download the data
  3. Use this for external reporting or analysis

Volunteer Portal Hours View

Volunteers can also view their own hours:

  1. Volunteers log into the Volunteer Portal
  2. They can see their service history and total hours
  3. Some organizations allow volunteers to self-log hours through the portal
