Argenta tracks volunteer hours for each volunteer. Here is how to view the hours a specific volunteer has served and run reports on volunteer hours across your organization.
Viewing Hours for a Specific Volunteer
- Go to Volunteerism > Volunteers
- Find and open the volunteer's record
- Look for the Service History or Hours tab
- This shows all logged hours for that volunteer
Viewing Hours from the Constituent Record
- Open the constituent's record
- If they are a volunteer, look for the Volunteer affiliation
- Click through to their volunteer record
- View their hours in the service history section
Running Volunteer Hours Reports
- Go to Reports
- Look for volunteer-related reports such as:
- Volunteer Hours Report - Total hours by volunteer
- Volunteer Service Details - Detailed breakdown of service
- Total Volunteer Hours - Aggregate hours across all volunteers
- Set your date range and any filters
- Run the report
Viewing Hours by Task
- Go to Volunteerism > Volunteer Tasks
- Open a specific task
- View the volunteers assigned and hours logged for that task
Viewing Hours by Task Group
- Go to Volunteerism > Volunteer Task Groups
- Open the task group
- View aggregate hours across all tasks in the group
Exporting Volunteer Hours
- Run a volunteer hours report
- Click Export to Excel to download the data
- Use this for external reporting or analysis
Volunteer Portal Hours View
Volunteers can also view their own hours:
- Volunteers log into the Volunteer Portal
- They can see their service history and total hours
- Some organizations allow volunteers to self-log hours through the portal
