You can configure Argenta to send notifications when volunteers sign up for tasks. This helps administrators and team members stay informed about volunteer activity.
Setting Up Task Signup Notifications
- Go to Volunteerism > Volunteer Task Groups
- Open the task group you want to configure
- Look for the Notifications section or tab
- Enable notifications for task signups
- Enter the email addresses that should receive notifications
- Save your changes
Setting Up System-Wide Notifications
- Go to My Organization > Notification Settings
- Find the volunteer-related notification options
- Enable the types of notifications you want
- Specify which email addresses should receive them
Types of Volunteer Notifications Available
- New Volunteer Signup: When someone submits the volunteer interest form
- Task Signup: When a volunteer signs up for a specific task
- Task Cancellation: When a volunteer cancels their task signup
- Hours Submitted: When volunteers log their hours
Checking Your Notification Settings
If you are not receiving expected notifications:
- Verify the correct email address is entered in notification settings
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Ensure your email domain is verified in Argenta
- Confirm notifications are enabled at both the system and task group level
Custom Notifications
For more advanced notification needs:
- Go to Workflow & Productivity > Workflows
- Create a workflow that triggers on volunteer-related actions
- Configure the workflow to send custom email notifications
