Ensure volunteers complete required training and maintain current certifications.

Accessing Volunteer Training

  1. Open the volunteer record
  2. Click Training in the workspace navigation

Recording Training Completion

  1. Click Add New
  2. Select the training course or certification
  3. Enter:
    • Completion Date: When they finished
    • Expiration Date: When recertification is needed (if applicable)
    • Score/Result: If the training had an assessment
    • Notes: Any relevant details
  4. Save

Training Results Tab

For training with assessments, use the Training Results tab to record:

  • Test scores
  • Pass/fail status
  • Competency evaluations

Managing Expirations

Filter volunteers by training expiration to find those needing recertification:

  • Background checks expiring
  • CPR/First Aid certifications
  • Required annual training

Training Tracks

Create training tracks (sequences of required courses) for different volunteer roles. This helps ensure all volunteers complete necessary training before serving.

Compliance Reporting

Generate reports showing:

  • Volunteers with complete vs incomplete training
  • Upcoming certification expirations
  • Training completion rates
