Setting Up Match Requirements

  1. Open the grant record
  2. On the Grant Details tab, find the match section
  3. Check Is Match Required
  4. Enter the Match Required Amount
  5. Save your changes

Types of Matches

  • Cash Match: Actual dollars your organization contributes
  • In-Kind Match: Value of donated goods or services
  • Percentage Match: A ratio like 1:1 or 2:1

Tracking Match Progress

Use the grant notes or connections to document:

  • Source of matching funds
  • In-kind contributions counted toward match
  • Match verification documentation

Reporting Match

When preparing grant reports, you can reference:

  • The match requirement from the grant record
  • Connected donations and contributions
  • Program expenses that qualify as match
