Argenta tracks grants in two directions depending on whether your organization is receiving or giving grant funds.
Grants Receivable
Grants your organization receives from funders:
- Foundation grants
- Government grants
- Corporate grants
- Money coming INTO your organization
Access via: Fundraising > Grants > Grants Receivable
Grants Payable (Grants Out)
Grants your organization gives to others:
- Scholarships you award
- Community grants you distribute
- Pass-through grants
- Money going OUT of your organization
Access via: Fundraising > Grants > Grants Payable
Key Differences
- Receivable: You track grantors (who gives you money) and applications you submit
- Payable: You track grant applicants (who requests money from you) and applications you receive
