You can connect an auction to a fundraising campaign and to an event so the proceeds and reporting roll up together. These links live on the Connections tab.

Why Connect an Auction?

  • Auction proceeds count toward the campaign and event totals
  • Unified reporting across your fundraising activities
  • One clear place to see how the auction relates to the rest of your work

Connecting to a Campaign or Event

  1. Open the auction
  2. Click Connections in the workspace navigation
  3. At the top of the page, use the Campaign field to pick the campaign, and the Event field to pick the event
  4. Each selection saves on its own and shows a green check when saved. There is no separate save button

One Campaign and One Event

An auction connects to a single campaign and a single event. Choosing a different one replaces the previous link, which keeps the relationship clear and the reporting accurate. To remove a link, clear the field.

Other Connections

The Connections tab also lets you link the auction to:

  • Funds: Associate restricted or unrestricted funds
  • Programs: Connect the programs the auction supports
