Making an auction public allows supporters to view items and place bids through your public auction form.
Before Going Public
Ensure you have completed:
- Auction title and description
- Start and end dates/times
- At least one public auction item
- Public form design (optional but recommended)
Making the Auction Public
- Open the auction
- On the Auction Details tab, check Make Auction Public
- Save your changes
Sharing the Public Form
- In the auction workspace, look for the Public Forms dropdown
- Click Open Public Auction Form to preview it
- Click Copy Auction Form Link to get the URL
- Share this link via email, social media, or your website
What Bidders See
On the public form, bidders can:
- Browse all public auction items
- View item photos and descriptions
- See current bid amounts
- Place bids (if bidding is open)
Controlling Visibility
Individual items have their own Make Public setting. Only items marked public appear on the form.
