Program Members are constituents with a membership association to your program, different from Participants who receive services.
Accessing Program Members
- Open the program
- Click Associated Members in the workspace navigation
Adding a Member
- Click the Add New button
- Search for the constituent by name
- Select the correct person from the search results
- They will be added to the program member list
Member vs Participant
- Members: Have a membership affiliation (e.g., paying members, organizational affiliates)
- Participants: Receive services from the program (e.g., clients, students, beneficiaries)
Managing Members
- Remove: Click the X icon to remove a member from the program
- Export: Download the member list to Excel
- Add to Mail Room: Create a mailing list from program members
When to Use Members
Use the Members tab when tracking dues-paying program members, organizational affiliates, advisory board members for a specific program, or supporting members who are not service recipients.
