Argenta lets you categorize and associate records like constituents, events, and tasks with Precincts. Precincts are the geographical boundaries used for voting purposes in most states.
To work with precincts, select Voting & Elections > Precincts from the Argenta main menu on the left-hand side. This opens the Precincts list for your organization.
To add a new precinct, click the Add A New Precinct button at the top of the list. Argenta creates the precinct and opens it in the Precinct Workspace so you can fill in the details.
On the Precinct Details page, complete the fields for your new precinct:
Status - Choose whether the precinct is Active or Inactive.
Precinct Number - Enter a number for the precinct if you use one. This field is optional.
Precinct Name - Enter a distinct name for the precinct. This is the only required field.
Member Quota - Enter a target number of members for the precinct if you track one. This field is optional.
District - Select the District this precinct belongs to from the drop-down list.
Congressional District - Select the congressional district from the drop-down list.
State Senate District - Select the state senate district from the drop-down list.
House District - Select the state house district from the drop-down list.
When you are finished, click Save All Changes to save and stay on the record, or Save All & Exit Record to save and return to your complete listing of precincts.
