Leads/Opportunities can be updated one at a time by opening an individual record from the list, or in bulk. A bulk update lets you narrow the list to the records you want, select them, and then apply one action to all of them at once.
To get started, choose Marketing & Engagement > Leads/Opportunities from the left-hand menu of the Argenta dashboard. This opens the complete listing of your organization’s Leads/Opportunities.
First, narrow the list to the records you want to update. Click Show Filter to open the filter options (for example Lead/Opportunity Status, Lead/Opportunity Type, Team Member Assigned, Category, Acquisition Source, State, and date ranges), set them, then click Apply Filter.
Next, select the records you want to include. You can check the box on each individual record, or use the bulk action dropdown to “Select All Records That Meet The Current Filter Criteria” or “Select Records Only on This Page.” The matching unselect options are there too if you need to start over.
Then open the bulk action dropdown (labeled “- Choose Bulk Action -”) and choose the action you want to apply to the selected records. Available actions include:
• Change Classification Code for Selected Records
• Assign A Team Member for Selected Records
• Add Engagement for Selected Records
• Add A Note for Selected Records
• Add Selected Records To Constituent Group
• Add Selected Records To Event Participants/Guests
• Add Selected Records To A Campaign
• Unsubscribe Selected Leads
• Create A New Mailroom List With Selected Records
• Add Selected Records To An Existing Mailroom List
• Delete All Selected & Unlocked Records
After choosing an action, click the Run Bulk Action button. For most actions a window then opens so you can confirm the details (for example which team member to assign, which classification code to apply, or which campaign to add to). Confirm in that window to apply the change to every selected record. The select-all and select-page options take effect as soon as you choose them and do not need the Run Bulk Action button. If you need to make more than one kind of change, repeat the steps for the next action and set of records.
