If you use your Leads/Opportunities to build mailing lists, there will be times when a recipient asks to unsubscribe. When that happens, you need a quick way to make sure that person is not contacted again. Argenta lets you do this in bulk with the "Unsubscribe Selected Leads" action.

Unsubscribing a lead does two things at once. It sets the lead's status to "Unsubscribed," and it flags the related constituent as do-not-email, do-not-text, and do-not-solicit. The record is not deleted, so the lead's information is kept on file, but unsubscribed leads automatically drop off your default "Active Leads" view and are left out of future mailing lists.

To unsubscribe one or more leads:

1. From the left-hand menu, go to Marketing & Engagement > Leads/Opportunities. This opens the full list of your leads.

2. Check the box next to each lead you want to unsubscribe. You can also use the bulk select options to select every record that matches your current filter.

3. Open the Bulk action drop-down and choose Unsubscribe Selected Leads.

4. A confirmation message will ask if you are sure you want to unsubscribe the selected lead(s) and remind you that this marks them as do-not-email, do-not-text, and do-not-solicit. Confirm to finish.

Once confirmed, the selected leads are marked "Unsubscribed" and their constituents are flagged so they will not be solicited again. Because the records are retained, you can still find them later by changing the status filter to "All Leads."
