Personal Passwords related to your work can be stored within Argenta. Each user has their own Personal Passwords page, which can only be accessed by that user.
To get started, choose Workflow & Productivity > Personal Passwords from the Argenta main menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Your Personal Passwords page will open and list any passwords you have already saved, in alphabetical order by source. To add a new password, select the Add A New Password button.
The Add A New Personal Password window will open. Enter the details for your password in each field:
1. Source – Enter the website or company name associated with the password here.
2. Source Url – Paste or type in the URL to the account’s website here.
3. User ID – Enter the account ID here. This is the ID you use to sign in to the account.
4. Password – Enter the password for the account here.
5. Associated Email Address – Enter the email address tied to this account here, if there is one.
6. Notes – Include any additional notes pertaining to the account here.
After reviewing the information you have entered, click Add This Password to finish. The new password opens in its own workspace, where you can add more details such as API credentials, edit the entry, or set record permissions. You can also return to your Personal Passwords page to see the new entry in your list.
You can enter as many passwords as you would like. On your Personal Passwords page, each entry shows the source, user ID, and password, with buttons to show or copy a value, open the entry, or delete it.
