Argenta lets you attach related files to records all across the system. Areas like constituents, districts, events, programs, and most areas within the general financials let you upload and attach documents. It is a great way to keep everything related to a record in one place.
 
The Related Files area shows up as a section or a tab on the record you are working on. Wherever you see it, you can attach any documents you would like to that record.
 
Uploading a file
 
There is one upload box that works two ways. You can drag a file from your computer and drop it onto the box labeled Drag & Drop Files Here, or you can click the box (it also says or click to browse) to open your computer and pick a file. You can select more than one file at a time.
 
Once you have chosen your file or files, they appear in a selected list next to the box. Click the Save The Selected File(s) button to finish attaching them to the record. When the upload is done, the files show up in the file list below.
 
Opening a file
 
To open an attached file, just click its name in the file list. It will open in a new browser tab.
 
Deleting a file
 
To remove a file, click the pink circle X icon to the right of the file name. Argenta will ask you to confirm before the file is deleted, so you have a chance to back out. Once confirmed, the file is removed.
