Overview, Working with Mission Trip Account Engagement

This article provides an understanding of the Mission Trip Account Engagement and explains how Mission Trip Account Engagements are Viewed/Opened, Edited/Updated, and Deleted. Engagement is the interaction between you and your constituents. Sending an email to a customer, or receiving a social media mention from a volunteer are examples of engagement. You can add and track engagement everywhere in Argenta.
 
To get to the Mission Trip Account Engagement, select Events and Programs > Mission Trip Account Engagement - from the main menu on the left side of the screen.
 
 
This will bring up the Mission Trip Account Engagement screen. This screen is divided into two sections, the filter at the top and the list of engagements at the bottom.  
 
 
View/Open
To view or open an engagement, find the record you wish to open, by searching or filtering for the record.
 
Open or view the record by selecting the corresponding open icon  for the record you wish to view.
 
 
This will open the engagement for you to view.
 
Overview
When you're in the Mission Trip Account Engagement screen, you can see all the engagements for your Mission Trip Accounts. Remember engagements are the interactions between you and your constituents. Sending an email to a customer, or receiving a social media mention from a volunteer are examples of engagement. You can add and track engagements everywhere in Argenta.
 
 
Functionality of Mission Trip Account Engagement
You can filter your engagements by:
  •  Record Type
  • Engagement Type
  • Constituent ID
  • Engaged With (Team Member)
  • Engagement Date Range
 
 
Simply select the criteria you wish to filter by and click the "Filter The List" button to have your list filter by your criteria.
 
You can click the "Cancel Filter & Reset" button at any time to clear the filter and be returned to your whole list of engagements.
 
You can add a new engagement for mission trip accounts by selecting the "Add New" button. For more help on adding a Mission Trip Account Engagement, please see KB Article - Add A Mission Trip Account Engagement.
 
You can export your full list or a filtered, into Excel. Filter the list and select all the records you wish to export out, or select from the list just the records you wish to export out, or select all records by using the "Run Bulk Action" drop down list and select "Select All Displayed Records" and the click the "Run Bulk Action" button to select all your records. Once your records are selected click the "Export To Excel" button to have the records exported out.
 
 
 
 From the Mission Trip Account Engagement screen you can view all engagements by selecting the "Show All Engagement" button.
 
  
 This will change you to the "Engagements" screen where you will see all engagements with your organization.
 
 You can edit your engagement types from the Mission Trip Account Engagement screen as well. Simply click the "Engagement Types" button.
 
 
 This will open the "Engagement Types" screen where you can Add/Edit/Delete/View your engagement types.
 
 You can use the "Run Bulk Action" button to bulk select, unselect, delete or change the associated team member for selected records. Simply choose the drop down menu button to select one of the actions then click the "Run Bulk Action" button to perform the action.
 
 
 
 You can search your list by using the search box.
 
Simply type an Engagement Type or Constituent Name into the box, or a partial type or name and the records that match will be returned.
 
Edit/Update
Once you are in the Mission Trip Account Engagement screen you can Edit/Update the engagement records as needed. To view or open an account, find the record you wish to open, by searching or filtering for the record and then selecting the corresponding open icon . This will open the View/Update Engagement screen.
 
From here you can edit/update these fields:
  • Engagement Date
  • Constituent ID
  • Engaged With (Team Member)
  • Engagement Type
  • Description
To update any of these fields simply click the drop downs or use the "Lookup" buttons to search for and select the new field values. When you've finished updating the record, click either the "Save All Changes & Continue" button to save and continue working or the "Save All Changes & Exit" button to save and go back to the Mission Trip Account Engagement List.
 
Delete
Anytime you see a delete button  you can delete the corresponding record. To delete any record in Argenta, simply click the Delete" button. A pop-up window will ask if you are sure you want to delete the record. Select "Yes" and the record will be deleted. Be very careful, deletion is a final action and can not be undone.
