The Fiscal Donation list can be filtered for a few different
reasons. One, is to narrow down the list by criteria to find specific records.
Another, is to give you a count of Fiscal Donations based on your selected
criteria.
As an example, if you wanted to know how many Fiscal Donations you
received as a result of your "Spring Campaign", you could select
"Spring Campaign" from your Associated Campaigns. With this criteria selected, click the "Filter List" button. You will see the total records label above the list has changed
and gives a total count of all donations received as a result of your
"Spring Campaign". The list has also changed, and displays only
donations received as a result of your "Spring Campaign".
To get started, select Fundraising > Donations - from the main menu on the left hand side.
This opens your fiscal donations list. To filter the list, click the "Filter List"
button:

From here you can choose the criterial you would like to use to filter your list. You can use as many of the filters as
you need, you can choose one or many items depending on how you would like to
narrow your results. Fiscal Donations can be filtered by:
- Donor - To filter for a single donor, select the Lookup
icon to search for and select the donor you wish to filter on. The donor ID and donor name will be displayed. You can clear this field by clicking the Clear Lookup
icon. - Associated Campaign - If you want to filter by campaign, select the Lookup
icon to search for and select a campaign. The Campaign number and name will be displayed. You can clear this field by clicking the Clear Lookup
icon. - Associated Event - To filter by event, select the Lookup
icon to search for and select the event you wish to filter on. The Event number and name will be displayed. You can clear this field by clicking the Clear Lookup
icon. - Donation Codes - You can filter by financial, in-kind, or 3rd party giving here. You can select one, two or all three codes.
- Donation Type - You can filter by your types here. You can select one or many here.
- Donation Category - You can filter by category here. You can select one or many here.
- Donor Category - You can also filter by donor categories. You can select one or many here.
- Donor Type - You can filter by donor type here. You can select one or many.
- Donor Level - You can filter by donor level here. You can select one or many.
- Chapter - You can filter by chapters within your organization here. You can select one or many here.
- Division - You can filter by divisions within your organization here. You can select one or many here.
- Department - You can filter by departments within your organization here. You can select one or many here.
- District - You can filter by a district here. Select one from the drop-down list.
- Precinct - With a district selected you can choose a precinct within the district here.
- Is in the General Ledger - You can choose: Both Yes & No, Yes, or No, from here.
- Fund - You can choose to filter by fund. You can select one or many.
- Deposit/Checking Account - You can filter by account here. Choose one or many.
- Payment Type - You can choose to filter by the donation payment type. Select one from the drop-down list here.
- Payment Point of Entry - You can filter on the payment point of entry here. Select one from the drop-down list.
- Was Thank You Note Sent - You can filter on whether a thank you note was sent or not sent, or both.
- Donation Date Range - There is a start date and an end date to filter on here. Enter both a starting and ending date for this filter.
- Donation Amount ($) Range - There is a start amount and an end amount to filter on here. Enter both a starting (lower) and ending (higher) amount for this filter. Or you can enter just a lower amount and only donations from that amount and higher will be shown.
With one or many of these filters selected, click the "Filter List" button and the list will display
only the donations that meet the selected criteria.
You can
also save your filters, to use again at a later time. After you filter the list
open the filters menu by hovering your mouse over the Filter

icon. When the filter menu opens choose "Save Filter." This
will open the "Add A New Filter" window. Enter a name for the
filter and click the "Add This Filter" button. The window will close,
and your filter will be saved. To load a filter at a later time, open the filters menu again but
this time choose "Load Filter." A list of saved filters will be
displayed. Click the filter you want to load. The filter will be applied and
your list will display according to the filter criteria. To delete a filter, open the filters menu again but this time
choose "Delete Filter." A list of saved filters will be displayed.
Click the filter you want to delete. The filter will be deleted, the filter box
will close and the filter has been deleted.
