When it becomes necessary to suspend a member you can use the Member Suspension Reasons for classification. Member Suspension Reasons are considered a Classification Code. Argenta comes loaded with common Member Suspension Reasons to help you get started, but you can change them at any time.

You can add or delete any Member Suspension Reason by selecting Classification Codes from the Argenta main menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

This will bring you into the full listing of all Customizable Classification Codes in Argenta. From here you will choose "Member Suspension Reasons" from the list.

This will bring you into the full list of Member Suspension Reasons. Next you will choose the "Add New" button.

This will open the Add A New Member Suspension Reason screen for you to add a new reason.

Choose a name for your reason and click "Add This Classification Code" to add this new reason to your list.

View The Total Number Of Records
Above the list is a records total that displays the total of all items currently displayed in the list. This is a quick and easy way to count list items.

Search The List
All classification code lists can be searched by the code’s title or a partial title. Enter the title of the code you are looking for into the search field to search the list.

Export The List To Excel
Argenta contains many reports, charts, graphs, and statements, but it may be necessary to manipulate your own data. You can work with your data anyway you want by exporting it to Excel. Every list in Argenta has an “Export To Excel” button above the list. Clicking the button exports the data currently displayed in the list to Microsoft Excel. If you have filtered the data by specific criteria, only the result set will be exported.

To Remove A Member Suspension Reason

In the member suspension reasons list, click the corresponding “Delete” button to remove a suspension reason from Argenta. Member suspension reasons that are already in use cannot be deleted. You will receive an alert indicating that you cannot delete the suspension reason because it has been used to classify a suspension record. If you still want to delete it, you can find the suspension record associated with it by filtering the members list, reclassifying all associated member suspension records, then trying again to delete it.
