Your Material Distributions can be classified using a Material Distribution Status Code. Material Distribution Status Codes are considered a Classification Code within Argenta. Your iteration of Argenta comes loaded with common Material Distribution Status Codes to help get you started, but you can expand upon them when or if needed.
You can add or delete a Material Distribution Status Code by selecting Classification Codes from the Argenta main menu on the left side of the screen.
This will bring you into the full list of Customizable Classification Codes in Argenta. From here you will choose "Material Distribution Status Codes" from the codes list.
This will show you your list of Material Distribution Status Codes. From here choose the "Add New" button to add a new Material Distribution Status Code.
This will open the Add A New Material Distribution Status Code screen, where you will enter a name for your new code.
Enter a name for your new code and then click the "Add This Classification Code" button to add the new code to your list.
View The Total Number of Records
Above the list is a records total that displays the total of all items currently displayed in the list. This is a quick and easy way to count list items.
Search The List
All classification code lists can be searched by the code's title or a partial title. Enter the title or partial for the code you are looking for into the search filed to search the list.
Export The List to Excel
Argenta contains many reports, charts, graphs, and statements, but it may be necessary to manipulate your own data. You can work with you data anyway you want by exporting it into Excel. Every list in Argenta has an "Export To Excel" button above the list. Clicking the button exports the data currently displayed into Excel. If you have filtered the data by specific criteria, only the resulting records from the filter will be exported.
To Remove A Material Distribution Status Code
In the material distribution status codes list, click the corresponding "Delete" button to remove the code from your list. Material distribution status codes that are already in use cannot be deleted. You will receive an alert indicating that you cannot delete the material distribution status code because it has been used to classify a material distribution. If you still want to delete it, you must find the related material distribution(s) using the distribution status code, reclassifying those distributions, then trying again to delete the code.
