Leads can be tracked throughout their life-cycle using Lead Status Codes. When a Lead is no longer active, the Lead Status becomes the final outcome. As an example, if you were speaking with a Lead for several months about becoming a volunteer for your organization, and they let you know they really weren't interested, you could set the lead's status to "No Possible Opportunity". This way you can keep a record of Leads you have worked in the past, so you don't waste time on the same Lead in the future. Argenta comes loaded with common Lead Status Codes to help you get started, but you can change them at any time.
You can add or delete any Lead Status Code by selecting Classification Codes from the Argenta main menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
This will open the complete list of Customizable Classification Codes within Argenta. From here select "Lead Status Codes."
This will open the complete list of your organizations Lead Status Codes. From here click the "Add New" button.
This will open the Add A New Lead Status Code screen.
Select a name for your new code. Click "Add This Classification Code." This will add your new code and return you to your full list of lead status codes.
View The Total Number of Records
Above every list is a record number that displays the total of all items currently displayed in the list. This is a quick and easy way to count list items.
Search The List
All classification code lists can be searched by the code's title. Enter the title of the code you are looking for into the search field to search the list.
Export The List To Excel
Argenta contains many reports, charts, graphs and statements,
but it may be necessary to manipulate your own data. You can work with your data anyway you want by
exporting it to Excel. Every list in Argenta has an "Export To Excel"
button above the list. Clicking the button exports the data currently
displayed in the list to Microsoft Excel. If you have filtered the data
by specific criteria, only the result set will be exported.
To Remove A Lead Status Code
In the lead status code list, click the corresponding "Delete" button to remove the lead status code from Argenta. Lead status codes that are already in use cannot be deleted. You will receive an alert indicating that you cannot delete the lead status code because it has been used to classify a lead . If you still want to delete it you can find the leads associated with it by filtering the lead list, reclassifying all associated leads, then trying again to delete the lead status code.
