Event Itinerary items can be classified using Event Itinerary Categories. Event Itinerary Categories are considered a Classification Code. Argenta comes loaded with common Event Itinerary Categories to help you get started, but you can change them at any time.

You can add or delete any Event Itinerary Category by selecting Classification Codes from the Argenta main menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

This will bring you into the full list of Customizable Classification Codes in Argenta. From here you will choose "Event Itinerary Categories."

This will bring you into the full list of Event Itinerary Categories. Next you will choose the "Add New" button.

This will open the Add A New Event Itinerary Category screen for you to add a new event itinerary category.

Choose a name for your new category and click "Add This Classification Code" to add this new category to your list.

View The Total Number Of Records
Above the list is a records total that displays the total of all items currently displayed in the list. This is a quick and easy way to count list items.

Search The List
All classification code lists can be searched by the code’s title. Enter the title of the code you are looking for into the search field to search the list. You can also search by a keyword or phrase.

Export The List To Excel
Argenta contains many reports, charts, graphs, and statements, but it may be necessary to manipulate your own data. You can work with your data anyway you want by exporting it to Excel. Every list in Argenta has an “Export To Excel” button above the list. Clicking the button exports the data currently displayed in the list to Microsoft Excel. If you have filtered the data by specific criteria, only the result set will be exported.

To Remove An Event Itinerary Category

In the event itinerary category list, click the corresponding delete  button to remove the event itinerary category from Argenta. Event itinerary categories that are already in use cannot be deleted. You will receive an alert indicating that you cannot delete the event itinerary category because it has been used to classify an event itinerary item. If you still want to delete it, you can find the event itinerary items associated with it by filtering the event itinerary list, reclassifying all associated event itinerary items, then trying again to delete it.
