Just Another Dam Race Sponsorship

SciotoArea Corps Cooperating Association (SACCA) will be hosting a 5K & Fun run on top of Alum Creek Dam, on October 1, 2022! 

The 5k will be across the dam and back and the Fun run will be a 1 mile on top of the dam. 

Participants will receive a race shirt, custom race bib, a welcome bag, medal, and post race snacks.

The race supports recreation programs and improvements at US Army Corps of Engineers Lakes in Central Ohio including Alum Creek Lake , Delaware Lake, Deer Creek Lake, Dillon Lake, Paint Creek Lake and Tom Jenkins (Burr Oak) Dam.  These parks are not eligible for state or local funding, tax levies, or most grants.  They are funded completely by the federal government with most funding supporting their primary mission of Flood Damage Reduction.  Proceeds from the race will be used for accessibility improvements, park improvements, facility upgrades, and special events such as Take A Warrior Fishing and Movies at the Dam.

Donations can be designated for a specific dam, if the sponsor desires.
