Fairfax GOP is excited to be participating in the Indian/South Asian 2023 Festival of Colors again this year! Due to rainy weather, the original date, Sunday April 30th, has been changed to Sunday May 21st.
The Festival of Colors 2023 is the World's Happiest and Most Entertaining Family Event. Celebrate Spirituality, Community, Love & Diversity, with Music, Celebrity DJ's, Interactive Dance by Local and Out of State Dance Schools, Multi Cuisine, Full Bar, Hookah, Shopping, Kids Activities and much more. Throw color freely on everyone, make new friends, enjoy the day with family and friends.
Fairfax GOP is looking for volunteers to engage with attendees, pass out candidate literature, and answer questions. There are 2-hour shifts with three volunteer openings per shift, so plenty of opportunities to volunteer. The festival is open Sunday, April 30th 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 2023 is a BIG year for local elections, so we expect our GOP nominees for School Board, Board of Supervisors, House of Delegates, State Senate and other offices will also be attending the festival, so another fantastic reason to volunteer!
Bull Run Park, Special Event Centre is the primary setting for the annual 2023 Festival of Colors. For regular attendees there is a $15 fee to enter at the gate. Free entrance tickets for GOP volunteers are available from Steve Rogers.
