Election Judge:
- Responsible for proper and orderly voting at the polling station.
- Explain voting procedure and use of voting equipment.
- Appoint and oversee election clerks.
- Assist the Election Judge in organizing the polling place.
- Ensure qualified voters are permitted to vote.
- Check in and process voters.
Helps the Precinct Chairman work to maximize the Republican vote in your precinct.
- Greet visitors.
- Answer the phone and if needed take detailed notes for follow-up.
- Help with any current activity.
Does not live in the assigned precinct. Serves in a precinct where there is not a current Precinct Chair to maximize the Republican vote in your assigned precinct by:
- Getting people in your assigned precinct involved.
- Identifying voters.
- Registering voters.
- Informing voters.
- Turning out voters.
- Located outside the polling place representing the Republican party.
- Talking with voters.
- Explaining the importance of voting down through the entire ballot.
- Explaining Republican values for undecided voters.
- Handing out literature .
Located within the polling place. Assigned to observe activities to guard against:
- Compromising the integrity of the election
- Fraudulent counting of ballots
- Violations of election laws
- Collect Republican signs from the GOP headquarters.
- Deliver the signs to people in your geographic area that have requested them.
